THE NEELD ARMS

A proper country inn, restaurant and pub for eating, drinking, staying and taking your time.

Tucked away in the picturesque village of Grittleton, on the edge of the South Cotswolds, The Neeld Arms is part of Inn The Sticks a small collection of English country pubs, restaurants and inns, each with its own character and a shared love of good food, good drinks and great British hospitality.

Just three miles from Castle Combe, a short drive from Lacock and Bath, and only minutes from Junction 17 of the M4, we’re perfectly placed for a country escape, a long lunch or simply a good excuse to get out of town.

Inside, you’ll find a welcoming bar, relaxed restaurant dining rooms and six comfortable bedrooms for those who fancy staying a little longer. Outside, there’s a sunny front terrace and charming courtyard, made for a drink, a lazy lunch or watching the world go by.

Our menus change with the seasons, bringing together generous, unfussy food made with great British ingredients. Behind the bar, you’ll find well kept local ales, proper ciders, good wines and all the usual pub favourites, alongside a few things you might not expect.

This is Inn The Sticks after all. We like our pubs and restaurants relaxed, welcoming and a little bit individual. Come for lunch, stay for dinner, book a room, meet friends for a drink or make us your base for exploring the South Cotswolds.

Whether you arrive by bike, car or on foot, you’ll always find a warm welcome, somewhere comfortable to settle in and plenty of reasons to stay a little longer. And yes, dogs are very welcome too.

Good food. Good drinks. A good night’s sleep. A little bit of country.
